What your gig app’s mileage record leaves out
Gig platforms record very different amounts of your driving. Walmart (Spark) and Grubhub say they send no mileage figure at all. DoorDash emails a yearly estimate of on-delivery miles. Uber and Lyft count online miles while their driver app is on. None of them records the miles you drive with the app off, and none gives you a drive-by-drive log.
